“Law of gravity” – a universal interaction between the two …
An interaction – an attraction between two charged particles, due to a certain force. Interaction and strength – a secret that pulls inward, making us delve deeper and deeper and feel it as the blood flow, as a pulsating organism.
The exhibition will include the works of three Latvian contemporary jewelry artists Valdis Brože, Guntis Lauders and Māris Šustiņš, whose works are often exhibited in art gallery PUTTI. Each of the artists is interesting in their philosophy and distinctive, individual style.
The exhibited pieces of jewelry will be made of silver, gold, and include precious stones, semi-precious stones, enamel, ebony, mammoth bone.
Valdis Brože creates exotic jewelry using enamel, while experimenting with unusual shapes and bright color combinations. His work exudes the essence of perfection.
Guntis Lauder finds inspiration in nature and is very enthusiastic about diverse materials – peculiar fossils, mammoth bones, African ebony and coral. Silver perfectly suites these exotic details.
Maris Šustiņš – loves to fantasize about the sky and stars in a romantic manner. Plastical silver molding combined with large stones, semi-precious stones, pearls, patina and gilding.
The exhibition will be open until November 24, 2012
